Well here we are, Friday night, the night before the big day, our very first market. We have all our things ready to go. I have checked my list more than once and counted the pairs of socks more than once also. I think I have a little bit of nervous jitters setting in as my stomach is not feeling up to par. But I know from experience once tomorrow comes I will be just fine! And do you believe it, we will have to set the alarm clock and that is real rarity in this household since retirement for us in June of 2010. This will be the 4th time to set the alarm! We have absolutely no idea of what our expectations should be or will be for tomorrow. This is truly a new notch to put on our learning curve of our new adventure. All and all, and above all I, hope that the two of us will have some fun and enjoy our time amongst other fellow crafters selling their products. Surely to goodness, there will be that one customer to buy a pair of socks! If we sell one lone pair we will be so very happy, as that will give us the incentive to do it again next month in April! It is going to be a quiet night, soon going to watch a movie, no sock stuff this evening, and then rise and shine with the birds and away we go.....off to market! Wish us luck!

MrB is the cranker in this venture. He creates hand-cranked knitted wool socks made on our Circular Sock Machine, we call Brigadier 88! It is the #88th Erlbacher Gearhart Knitting Machine newly made. Me, MsB is the cranky assistant (not) :-) that runs the business side of things, networking, doing the sock tags, yarn ordering, kitchener stitching and more. MrB is studious, and is constantly cranking out new pairs of SOCKS Made on 88! Our story and my blog unfolds here... it all began Jan.3, 2012

Good luck tomorrow and the most important part is to have fun!! People will flock around the machine and the day will end quicker than it begun!
You will do great and I guess you already know we are expecting a full report, no matter how tired you are!
Jamie I am so very touched that you took the time to send us your best wishes for tomorrow. It means a lot to me/us, thank you! I will report here sometime tomorrow no matter what, to share our outcome of our first market.
