Ok I stand corrected!
That little character that sits on top of my monitor, his name is
Peekin' Zeke! The little guy that has been in my latest pics.
MrB is the cranker in this venture. He creates hand-cranked knitted wool socks made on our Circular Sock Machine, we call Brigadier 88! It is the #88th Erlbacher Gearhart Knitting Machine newly made. Me, MsB is the cranky assistant (not) :-) that runs the business side of things, networking, doing the sock tags, yarn ordering, kitchener stitching and more. MrB is studious, and is constantly cranking out new pairs of SOCKS Made on 88! Our story and my blog unfolds here... it all began Jan.3, 2012

Smile, you're on candid camera!
I love using my little "Freakin Peakin" or is "Peakin Freakin?" I must look that up! My son gave it to me years ago, and I still have it sitting on my external monitor on my desk. He has made my pictures very entertaining this week.
This picture was taken to show my new blackboard tags that I purchased to used in my display at the markets. I really think they are cute and will come in useful as you can write small messages on them. I am going to try a couple of them out this Saturday at the market.
When setting up for the picture, I thought this would be the perfect place to take the picture. There is so much in the background. The Crankin' Cave is kept pretty neat and tidy but this is a corner where there are all sorts of things thriving, and calling out to be used at any given time! Notice all the flags in the background too. The USA flag is the one that came with the Erlbacher Gearhart CSM when it arrived in Dec 2011. And the Canadian Flags are used at the market for Canada Day and I do put them outside here at home on November 11th.
You may also see other items, various cylinders and ribber dials, artificial flowers, a sign in which 88 is visible, rags, and whatever else may have been stuffed in that corner. All those items have played a part in the story one time or which constantly unfolds in our art of sock making at Socks Made On 88!
Why did I call this post, Smile you are on candid camera?
I have no idea, except for the smilie face that I drew on one tag, and it just seemed to come to thought at the very instant of posting. Have a great day everyone!
