We had a wonderful first stint at the Historic Farmers Market today at the old Brewery Square. Lots of people stopped to take a peak at MrB cranking away and just as many stopped to touch the socks and ask questions. The purchases reached our goal and exceeded with the potential interest and very positive feedback! So many enquired if were coming back and it was pleasure to say YES we will be back! We had a great introduction and look forward to our next time going even though we have to get up before the birds. We are a little groggy now but got all the little after market things done before turning off Socks Made On 88 for the day. Now we have big anticipation of our next venue being next Saturday. They are all exciting to take part in as you just never know what to expect.

MrB is the cranker in this venture. He creates hand-cranked knitted wool socks made on our Circular Sock Machine, we call Brigadier 88! It is the #88th Erlbacher Gearhart Knitting Machine newly made. Me, MsB is the cranky assistant (not) :-) that runs the business side of things, networking, doing the sock tags, yarn ordering, kitchener stitching and more. MrB is studious, and is constantly cranking out new pairs of SOCKS Made on 88! Our story and my blog unfolds here... it all began Jan.3, 2012
