MrB is the cranker in this venture. He creates hand-cranked knitted wool socks made on our Circular Sock Machine, we call Brigadier 88! It is the #88th Erlbacher Gearhart Knitting Machine newly made. Me, MsB is the cranky assistant (not) :-) that runs the business side of things, networking, doing the sock tags, yarn ordering, kitchener stitching and more. MrB is studious, and is constantly cranking out new pairs of SOCKS Made on 88! Our story and my blog unfolds here... it all began Jan.3, 2012

What's Next?
The Circular Sock Machine ( CSM) is all ready, set to go for the next project. But wait, MrB is not, it is too nice a day to knit/crank today. Sometimes though, once summer arrives, he knits outside on the deck. Today it is other things on the agenda. Here Brigadier 88 sits, awaiting the next rainy day to arrive and MrB's next CSM task. Wonder what it be? My vote says socks for himself or continuing on plugging out stock pile sock pairs for Christmas.

Have I told you lately, I love... My Odd-BallTabbies!
My Odd-Ball Tabbies! I have a couple other pairs, but these pairs, MrB decided to crank out the toes the same colour as the other sock colour mate! I just grabbed some left-overs and said make me some more tabbies for this season. I love them, love them, love them! From now to September I will be wearing my tabbies at the market when we do our Show and Sell stints. I usually coordinate my outfit with the colour of tabs sticking out of my running shoes, crocs. or birkies. Remember my rule, always wear our socks when doing a Show and Sell... even if its 90 degrees out I wear them! When I get back to the car or home I can peel them off :-) then. Here is a photo of my recent 2 pairs of Odd-Ball tabbies for your viewing.
So these pairs give me tabs of green, coral, aqua, and purple to play with plus the already existing colours in my sock drawer. I do like to mix and match with my others too! We have not made Odd-Ball Tabbies to sell at the market, but if anyone wanted them, we would surely crank them out for them!

When I say, PANSY, I think of my late grandmother...
My grandmother was an avid gardener, and she had a Pansy garden. It was full of all different colours of Pansies and Jolly Jump-Ups! If she was here today, I would definately give her this pair of socks. Actually I don't remember her ever wearing socks, but I am sure if she was around she would give them a whirl!
