Purple in what world?

Purple in today's world?  No, apparently not, but it is to be purple in Tomorrow's World, as the name of this colourway is Tomorrow's World!  One kitchenered and then one more to go. Alas, all the cranking/knitting has been done for this week, goals met and some surpassed, which is good.  Tomorrow is getting ready for Saturday's Market, cuz we are still in today's world!

The Constrast!

The contrast of the pastel softness of the colourway Lollipop and the vibrant richness of the colourway Blind Venus with a splash of spring too!

Cool Ocean Breeze a blowin'

MrB took this picture today of me while we went out for a nice cool ocean breeze walk this afternoon.  And to make this post sock related, although it is St. Patrick's Day I did NOT have green socks on.  Today I had on my nice Belfast Mini Yarn from PEI, socks on that happen to be a beautiful lavender or mauve colour with two grey stripes.   I really like this picture so I wanted to share it with my blog followers!

St. Paddy's Day today

Holy Cow I just about forgot to post something for St. Paddy's Day!
My Tshirt for St. Paddy's  Day , March 17, 2013

Do you remember these?  These are my especially made sock pair for me to wear while mowing the lawn.  It is not lawn mowing season here yet, but these are the only green socks I had handy at the moment for the photo caption.  Happy St. Patrick's Day to all!

Sweet and Spicy!

Sweet and spicy!  Are we talking about me, nope we are talking about this colourway series of yarn.  You know me by now I like all the socks.  I am not a fan of these ones.  I am soooo glad I only ordered this selection as I did not like any of the others in the series at all.  This one is tolerable but we will have to see how it goes when displayed at the market this Saturday.  MrB says he likes it so I am hoping others will also.  For me it is like Halloween and Christmas all mushed up into one!  I have taken the photo of this pair with something sweet and spicy, just to show them off, those of you who do love them!  I could be completely wrong and they sell quick as a flash in a pan!

To Liven up some Men's Feet!

MrB can do it, so can other men!  Here is a sample of some up and coming pairs that will presented at our next market.  We are attracting a younger men's crowd looking for some daring colour to add to their feet.  Are they daring enough to buy them though will be the big question of the day?  If they don't, not to worry, because you know who, will gladly take them off the display rack and put them in his own drawer. I am not mentioning any names :-)

So this is my latest market tactic....bright bright bright!  The conversative yarn will stay in the bag till winter. We bought conservative to please the ones who did not like colour.   Spring and Summer, lay on the colour!  Colour shows, colour sells!  Colour for our show and sell at the markets here I come. I wore a very conservative bland colour of socks last market appearance, and a regular market goer came up to me to say he noticed I did not have colourful socks on that day.  There you go, you think they may not be noticing your socks, but they are!  It will be mandate next Saturday, March 23 to sell one of these two pairs.
Can I do it?
